Overview:
The Dispatcher schedules and dispatches orders and provides excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction, minimize costs, and promote company sales. The incumbent facilitates accurate and timely communication between the plant, field, customers, and drivers.

Holcim Inc. is recruiting for a full-time hourly Dispatcher in the Fort Worth, TX office.

Responsibilities:
Safety:

Order-Taking & Customer Service:
  • Customers’ point of contact for questions, orders, pickup and delivery needs, freight status, complaints, and problem resolution
  • Enter complete/accurate customer order details into information systems
  • Proactively seek customer feedback to identify areas of improvement and trends in all operations; communicate ideas and solutions to team
  • Communicate with Sales, Operations, Quality Control
  • Review next-day orders to ensure they are correctly mapped and have accurate travel times, addresses, and delivery instructions
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Required: High School Diploma/GED
  • Preferred: A minimum of 2 years post-secondary education, preferably a Bachelor’s Degree with relevant work experience, or a minimum of several years of experience in dispatching positions.
Work Experience: 3-5 years
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Software (primarily excel and word)
  • Ability to count and perform basic math
  • Must be able to use common office tools and technology, such as cell/office telephone, calculator, and other electronic devices.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently as well as in a group setting
