Responsibilities

Directs the activities and provides innovative leadership in the area of Radiology/Imaging Services Product Lines. Assesses and determines the best course of action to recommend to Senior Leadership with the selection, procurement, and delivery of medical imaging staff, equipment, and related services. Ensures the department programs, policies and procedures comply with the Joint Commission and other regulatory and inspection agency requirements, guidelines, and standards. Develops annual goals and objectives related to supporting the growth and development of Imaging Services product lines in response to present and future needs. Develops and manages annual operational and capital budget of the Imaging Services Departments, under the guidance and approval of hospital administration. Participates in and coordinates, as needed, performance improvement initiatives. Practices Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an AMA approved school (ARRT) or certified by the Radiology Administration Commission (CRA).

3-5 years previous radiology supervisory experience required

Knowledge of human resource management, program development, fiscal management skills, and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards preferred

Computer skills to include but not limited to: excel, word, power point, outlook and etc

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent clinical/administrative experience.
