Primary Responsibilities:
The Director of Sales Enablement is responsible for conceiving, developing, and implementing companywide programs that improve the capability, productivity and performance of the commercial sales organization. This person will lead the team of Promotions Managers that are regionally based and accountable for supporting KeHE Sales Channels. This role will work directly with the sales, marketing, category management and other teams to create scalable processes focused on increasing productivity and efficiency as well as build sales enablement promotional programs and strategy. The individual in this position will support KeHE’s reputation as a best-in-class provider of Innovative Products & Insights. As with all positions at KeHE, it is expected that all actions of the Director of Regional Promotions will be consistent with KeHE's Mission, Vision and Values.
Essential Functions:
  • Lead regional sales enablement and training teams to deliver value to the sellers or sales teams through efficiently designed sales and well-implemented sales development programs.
  • Drive sales enablement strategy that implements best practices in enablement methods and delivery tools, assesses skills gaps for individual sellers or sales teams and supports additional enablement needs aligned to companywide initiatives.
  • Leads sales enablement team to ensure readiness, support high performance across sales organization and enable account-based selling approach through development of enablement programs and content on time, quality, and within budget.
  • Understand internal methodologies and processes for identifying, qualifying and closing sales opportunities.
  • Governs and communicates sales methodologies, best practices, and processes aligned with the commercial sales framework and go-to-market approach
  • Actively seeks, captures, and makes available to the entire selling organization best practices and techniques that lead to profitable growth in market share across all channels.
  • Identifies sales performance indicators to measure, monitor, and improve competitive advantage. Reports on the effectiveness of sales enablement investments and programs
  • Coordinate with direct sales and partner channel leadership to align and prioritize enablement programs to meet agreed-on objectives that support sales goals.
  • Develop and implement effective regional incremental promotional programs for KeHE Sales Channels by working with Sales, Vendors, Brokers, Category Management, and Retail Growth Solutions
  • Improve Vendor/Broker connectivity at the regional level through increased collaboration and communication Sales communications to include resource updates and training, GBB initiatives and deals, category reviews and RGS insights.
  • Incorporate technology to enhance communication to sales and retailers
  • Assist in developing and maintaining sales management tools, adoption of best practices, KPIs, dashboards and reports.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years working with distributors, manufacturers and retailers
  • Background in Sales, Category Management, Promotions, or other Merchandising functions
  • Recruitment, training, and development of top performing teams
  • Willingness to travel 30% for customer meetings, food shows and corporate meetings
Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations both verbally and in writing to both internal and external audiences
  • Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced business environment
  • Team player that is confident and works to build trust through collaboration with others
  • Project Management skills
  • Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with company goals
