Director of Sales Job at Inova Staffing Services
Our client located in Valley View has an opening for the Director of Sales!
This is a direct-hire!
Job Duties:
- Obtain profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development, and product knowledge development
- Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed upon targets and sales metrics, and promoting the organization’s presence
- Schedule and lead weekly sales team meetings
- Maintain high sales employee engagement and sales team ISO requirements
- Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications/tools
- Train and ensure adherence to sales and other process
- Responsible for the planning, recruiting, hiring, direction, organization and control of the sales team
- Provide ongoing training for the sales team as well as train new salespeople and coach and develop the team
- Track sales team metrics and report data to leadership on a regular basis as well as implement performance plans
- Establish an effective pricing strategy based on market conditions, costs, and profit expectations
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years successful sales leadership experience
- Experience hiring, coaching, and developing a sales team
- A proven track record and demonstrated success leading teams
- Bachelor’s degree
- Steel manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to develop budgets, staff teams, use a CRM tool, and proficiency of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals
