Job Overview:
The Director of Quality and Patient Safety is responsible for collaborating with organization leaders to ensure that value based goals and optimal standards of patient care quality and safety are being achieved. The Director is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the patient safety, care management and quality improvement programs. This position works in partnership with Clinical Operations, Managed Care, Risk Management, Process Improvement and assigned teams to ensure that the organization meets or exceeds patient safety and quality improvement goals.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Require
- Master's Degree Preferred
Job Requirements:
- Active RN FL license
- 8 years clinical experience, 3 years administrative experience in Quality Management/Improvement, Patient Safety & Care Management experience.
- Understanding of benchmarking, case management concepts, current reimbursement practices and requirements of third party payers & clinical care and disease management practices, procedures, techniques.
- Training in quality improvement and/or project management, and/or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
