The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance to help oversee the general quality and support of services within the organization. The Director of Quality Assurance will work closely with the VP of Quality Assurance and Advocacy to ensure that the Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod holds true to its mission and meets internal quality standards and all requirements of external funders, regulator sources and accreditation agencies as appropriate. In conjunction with Department Directors and the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Advocacy, develop and implement quality assurance systems in the field that ensure the health of safety or people served, and utilize and incorporate best practices to increase the overall quality of services and quality of life for people served. This includes developing and performing quality audits, including MAP audits, and ensuring all required follow-up occurs in conjunction with the Program Director.

Quality Assurance Job Functions:

· Compilation of information across all service locations as part of Metric Quality oversight.

· Oversee the Quality Assurance audit system and process established within the organization or by regulatory bodies.

· Oversee HCSIS daily alert audits and preparation of monthly reports.

· Participate as a member of the Risk Management Team, assist with preparation and dissemination of information for Risk Meetings.

· Participate in the preparation for and activity related to all state and federal audits including DDS Licensing and Certification and CARF accreditation.

· Enter information into software (such as Excel and SharePoint) in preparation for analysis.

· Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to teamwork at all times.

· Attends all mandatory in-services, safety training and annual trainings.

· Perform all other duties as assigned.

The Skills, Experience and Characteristics you will bring:

· Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Windows/iOS operating systems required.

· Knowledge of iCentrix (electronic recordkeeping system) preferred.

· Strong analytical skills required.

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or experiential equivalent

· Experience in a Quality Assurance and/or Risk Management role preferred.

· CPR, First Aid, Safety Care, MAP certifications preferred.

Working Conditions:

· General office environment, hybrid work schedule as scheduled and assigned. Travel to service locations will be essential.
