We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to lead our operations.

THE POSITION

The Director of Operations must own all phases of the operations offered in New York and other US cities, hire talent for various positions, manage the training of managers, and oversee the execution to a high level of satisfaction.

Contribute to other sectors of the buses, boats, and bikes operations to build a highly efficient, revenue-oriented, and optimized department while achieving a top level of customer satisfaction. In addition, the candidate will identify and develop new revenue growth opportunities alongside marketing, sales, and operations executives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtain permits from local authorities in various cities for bus operations.
  • Plans and oversees strategic, operational, and administrative programs, projects, and/or services of broad significance to the organization within the designated functional area of focus.
  • Establishes and implements short and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement.
  • Provides strategic advice and recommendations to leadership in developing, implementing, and evaluating new or modified operating policies, practices, and procedures within the specified functional area of focus.
  • Analyzes, designs, documents, and implements internal reporting systems and procedures for the organization.
  • Designs, coordinates, and implements training programs for personnel within the organization and its components regarding the nature and application of operating policies and procedures.
  • Manages and/or provides day-to-day leadership to various technical, professional, and/or administrative personnel engaged in specified project activities, as appropriate to the position.
  • May represent the organization to governmental agencies, national organizations, and/or the general public; may represent the principal executive at various community and/or business meetings, as assigned.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Manage the field operations of dozens of employees daily
  • Create schedules that cover all shifts and are within the overtime guidelines of the company.
  • Responsible for monitoring company policies and enforcing them.
  • Train, test, and evaluate new employees in the operations department.
  • Report daily to the Senior Director of Operations and advise regarding improvements for the department.
  • Respond to daily operational developments and emergencies.
  • Serve as a source of knowledge to both employees and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of managing a team of at least 50 People
  • Exceptionally dependable, reliable, and punctual
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Google Docs
  • Ability to work flexible and extended hours as needed
  • Must have a reliable smartphone
  • Must have availability to work weekends and holidays

This role is a mix of office and fieldwork as needed based on seasonality and other factors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
