Director of Nursing / Wellness Director:

Salary range: $75,000 to $90,000 annual salary and bonus structure, Depending on Experience.

Director of Nursing / Wellness Director Essential Functions:

The responsibilities in this role are to oversee all aspects of the Wellness Department so residents receive excellent care in a way that promotes dignity, choice, and individuality (in conjunction with active RCC, E.D. and Regional support). Duties include but are not limited to oversight of resident care, staff task management, resident assessments, coordination of services, infection control, remain well informed of all regulatory requirements and ensure staff are educated on updated policies and procedures. The Wellness Director will ensure department records are compliant with facility policies, DSHS and WAC standards for Assisted Living Facilities. The Wellness Director position reports to the Executive Director.

Director of Nursing / Wellness Director Requirements and Experience:

  • Experience in Assisted Living or skilled care, memory care is a plus
  • Current LPN or RN Licensure in Washington state
  • Must meet all Washington Administrative Code (WAC) requirements related to this position
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English
  • Delegation process experience preferred
  • Must possess strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build and lead a team while fostering a positive work environment
  • Management of 20 plus staff members
  • Hands on leadership
  • Current CPR/First Aide certification
  • Current Washington State Food Handlers Permit
  • We follow a state required screening process
