Primary Function: Effectively lead efforts in defining and maintaining the standards of nursing practice in the organization.

Pay range: $110,000 - $120,000

Supervision: Supervised by the Medical Director

Essential Functions:

• Provide day to day supervision to Nursing Leadership Team, mentoring and coaching in a positive and respectful manner.
• Participate in organizational strategic planning translating objectives into departmental plans and goals.
• In collaboration with Human Resources, responsible for staff selection, training, retention, performance management of Nursing staff.
• In collaboration with Finance staff, develop an annual budget reflecting projected departmental expenditures. Monitor budget adherence and make appropriate adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate treatment efforts with the Counseling provider and specialty staff to facilitate and ensure optimal care of clients.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures based on best practices and latest research, ensuring integration into the treatment process.
• Lead efforts to facilitate the implementation and measurement of organizational client and staff engagement tactics within department operations.
• Maintain primary responsibility for the Infection Control Program, ensuring that staff are properly trained and the plan is routinely updated.
• As needed, provide client care to support efficient operations.
• Professionally represent the organization with cooperating community medical services.
• As required, maintain on-call availability and consultation to Nursing staff and other departmental colleagues.
• Resolve escalated issues arising from operations in coordination with other departmental leaders.
• Attend and serve as a contributing member to required committee meetings.
• Lead departmental meetings and training activities to achieve desired outcomes.
• Adhere to confidentiality laws including 42CFR Part 2, HIPAA and HITECH as well as Harmony policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Investigate, document, and follow up on internal Variance reports.
