About us
The Chatham Club is a private fine dining club established in 1968, located in historic downtown Savannah and we are currently seeking professional candidates for our Dining Room Manager opening.
This is a key role with responsibilities that include: working side by side with the General Manager to oversee the daily dining operations, managing and supporting front of house staff and ensuring that members enjoy an exceptional dining experience. Ideal candidate must be a strong communicator and work well in a team environment.
Other qualities and duties include:
- Previous private club or fine dining environment experience is preferred
- Proven ability to lead by example
- Effectively communicate with General Manager and Executive Chef
- Ability to set up dining room according to upcoming reservations for dining and events
- Assist with monthly liquor, beer and wine inventory count
- Interview and train new servers as necessary
- Interact with members to get feedback on dining experience, addressing any concerns
- Willingness to serve tables and bartend when needed
- POS system experience, preferably Jonas
