Early Career Program Responsibilities

STRATEGY & EXECUTION

  • Review and enhance the global program structure and strategy of the early career program

  • Utilize BMS’s Employer Brand to effectively build relationships with universities, external candidates, and talent sources within BMS

  • Coordinate recruitment planning through continuous involvement in ongoing Digital & IT early career headcount planning and forecasting

  • Create a recruiting and marketing strategy for universities and colleges

  • Support the creation of teams focused on enabling execution of early career strategy, including but not limited to role placements, performance management, learning and development, and onboarding

  • Build and maintain meaningful and trusted relationships that result in dynamic hiring manager and candidate experiences

  • Actively engage with managers throughout the talent cycle to impart best practices for managing and developing junior talent

  • Design and facilitate training for colleagues to support the early career programs

  • Partner with other early career programs across BMS for best practices and leverage current trends to improve program offerings

  • Create and facilitate orientation and learning and development initiatives aimed at developing and retaining early career talent

PROGRAM SUCCESS ANALYSIS AND METRICS

  • Continuously improve and validate the program’s strategy and offerings through feedback and data analysis

  • Leverage automation and technology to capture program data

  • Communicate the program’s success through the authoring of success stories and other opportunities

  • Create key performance indicators (KPIs, including but not limited to attrition, retention, diversity initiatives, best practices, and performance management)

Digital & IT Communication Responsibilities

  • Support the overall Digital & IT Communication team with communication needs

  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communication channels for communicating with stakeholders, ensuring the alignment of internal and external messages and communications

  • Influence the innovation and creative design of communications to ensure communications remain informative, inspiring and engaging

  • Follow BMS and Corporate Affairs style guides, processes and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, TEAMS, SharePoint Design)

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Communication design

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving our candidate experiences and talent development

  • Have strong time management skills

  • Enjoy taking initiative with new projects

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • 10% travel
