Dietary Supervisor responsible for ensuring the upkeep of dietary is in compliance with state guidelines at all times. Dietary Supervisor will ensure all diets are being followed according to the doctor orders. Dietary Supervisor will ensure residents are served a minimum of 3 meals per day as well as 3 snacks per day according to the residents diet.

Performance Standards:

-Must be able to work as a team player in order to serve appropriate diet orders to residents.

-Must always be punctual and display a professional and positive attitude.

-Must provide patience, understanding, and genuine concern when dealing with the residents.

-Must be able to pass the dietary test provide by the facility from state guidelines.

-Must comply with facility work rules as well as work schedule.

-Must be able to lift as needed when arranging truck order delivery, etc.

-Must maintain a weekly deep cleaning schedule to ensure cleanliness of dietary and dining room.

-Must be able to abide by resident’s rights.

Work Environment:

-Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

-May be exposed to residents with communicable disease.

-Slip resistant shoes must be worn as the floor can be slippery at times.

Essential Job Functions:

• Monitor dietary mealtimes daily to ensure the menu is being followed.
• Monitor substitutions to ensure they are equal to the item being replaced on the menu.
• Monitor dietary paperwork daily to ensure refrigerator/freezer temperatures are in compliance, water temperatures are in compliance, sanitizer check is in compliance, etc.
• Must be in uniform and monitor all dietary employees to ensure they are following dietary dress code daily.
• Monitor food for labeling/dates at all times.
• Must maintain an active Servsafe certification at all times. (facility provide)
• Ensure hot foods are served hot and cold foods are served cold according to state guidelines.
• Monitor dietary inventory every Friday to ensure all listed menu items are in place for the weekend leading into Monday as well as notify Administrator with any concerns immediately.
• Maintain a Registered Dietician approval letter at all times.
• Monitor all employees work ethics daily. Direct as needed.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
