Dietary Aide
We are looking for a qualified Dietary Aide to help prepare and serve food to the residents in our Adult Care Facility. You will be serving dishes and ensuring good sanitary conditions in cooking and dining areas in our facility. A Dietary Aide must be capable to prepare and serve food following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards. They must be competent and conscientious with a resident centric approach. The goal is to to provide excellent food service by following instructions and standards set forth by your supervisor and the Culinary Director. You will work closely with Wellness staff in ensuring residents well being during meal times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up all tables or other dining areas with attention to detail cleanliness and order.
Prepare and serve meals under the supervision of your supervisor and/or Cooks
Deliver meals to residents during designated meal times, at times to residents rooms as well.
Breakdown the dining area clearing plates, glasses, silverware, and other table ware.
Ensuring tables are kept stocked with condiments and sugar caddies are refilled on a daily basis.
Discarding of leftover food waste and taking the garbage to the proper receptacle.
Maintain cleanliness in the pantry service and kitchen area ensuring all tabling and floors are kept neat clean tidy and dry.
Clean food stations, wash dishes, cooking utensils and cookware as well as silverware.
Monitoring and restocking of pantry and kitchen inventories.
Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliance cleanliness.
Performs related duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
Proven Experience as a Dietary Aide.
Experience in customer service will be appreciated.
Knowledge of basic food safety sanitation and safety guidelines.
Ability to follow basic instructions in regard to kitchen equipment and cleanliness.
Friendly and compassionate with good communication skills towards our residents, family members, and team members.
Good physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift and move 25 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent, certification in food safety standards is a plus.
Must be able to lift and move 30 pounds.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
