Beltway Companies, the largest commercial truck dealership in the state of Maryland, offers full-service truck and warranty repairs for International trucks, Jerr-Dan bodies, Kalmar-Ottawa yard jockies, Cummins engines, and Eaton and Meritor drivetrains. Our state-of-the-art facilities and diagnostic equipment support the latest in technology in trucking and provide an environment fueled by innovation.

Our technicians are a vital member of our team and are charged with inspecting, repairing, and/or overhauling medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks with diesel engines. We have immediate openings for technicians at all of our locations.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection and lubrication
  • Cab, frame, front axle, steering gear and springs
  • Brake System
  • Clutch, transmission, and differential
  • Engine Repair
  • Engine tune-up, electrical inspection and testing
  • Overhaul, major components
  • Trailer repairs
  • Tool Room (knows proper use of all tools)

Skills, Training, and Education Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 1 to 4 years related experience
  • Mechanical knowledge of diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles

Saturday Hours as Required

Qualified candidates will have their own hand tools and relevant training and/or experience, preferably with medium and/or heavy-duty trucks. Must be self-motivated, team player ready to hit the ground running.
