AGiRepair, Inc., is an industry leader for high-level Apple device repair and replacement parts, and the chosen repair partner for thousands of educational institutions, corporations, warranty centers, and insurance companies throughout the United States. Our 124,000 square foot, state-of-the-art headquarters is located in Greensburg, PA, with additional locations in Pittsburgh, PA, Nevada, Texas, and Wisconsin.

We are hiring people to process and test Apple computers, Chromebooks, and mobile electronic devices and components such as phones, tablets, and parts. Experience is not necessary. Our objective is to hire, train, and retain.

You will be trained to:

  • Utilize testing machines and a variety of hand tools
  • Complete data entry of logs, paperwork, and forms on an internal computer system
  • Perform basic mathematic calculations
  • Meet production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
  • Research and maintain a current, working knowledge, of technical information and applications
  • Multi-task, prioritize, and work in a flexible, changing environment with multiple deadlines
  • Accurately perform job duties with minimal supervision
  • Effectively communicate (oral, written, and verbal), and maintain good relationships with co-workers
  • Perform basic warehouse and inventory duties independently and as a team

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Near vision – ability to see details at close range
  • Finger dexterity – ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and counting
  • Active learning – understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Documenting/Recording information – entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form

Preferred but Not Required

  • Mechanical knowledge/experience – at least one-year on-the-job experience or training from accredited courses/classes, using machinery and/or tools to perform repairs
  • Mobile Device Repair experience (iPhones, iPads, MacBook, Chromebooks, tablets, laptops, board repair)
  • Experience with clean-room policies and flow bench procedures including ESD Protection and Anti-Static Environments
  • The ability to utilize basic hand tools, i.e., Dremel, thermal wire strippers, chemicals, adhesives, heat guns, utility knives, razor blades, and digital voltage meters
  • Experience in processing device buybacks for phones, computers, or other electronics
