Position Summary:
Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Device Check Specialist is responsible for providing technical and clinical services in relation to cardiac devices and support of the heart failure ervice line objectives.
  • Cardiac device management to include mintenance of remote monitoring sites and interpretation of remote data as well as routine in office evaluations.
  • Device troubleshooting, identification or arrhythmias, and interpretation of technical and diagnostic information.
  • Documents appropriately in EHR
  • Communicates with patients, clinical staff and physicians to provide device education and report interpretation as well as technical and diagnostic information relevant to patients care.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

Qualifications


Required Knowledge, Skills, Licensure, Training & Travel Requirements (if applicable):
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Associates degree in Technical, Engineering, Nursing, or Health Science
  • 2 years of experience of clinical experience in an EP or Cath Lab or equivalent in Cardiology device clinic
  • Experience with patient check in and check out procedures
  • Minimum of 1 year of medical experience preferred
  • Job required being reliable, responsible, dependable
  • Detailed oriented and thorough in completing work tasks
