Desktop Technician Job at Techadox

Techadox New York, NY 10016

Hello Team,

We need desktop support technician for our sites : uninstall software, knowledge of registry keys, desktop tech.

A couple of our internal teams are still working out a few minor details but we’re looking for assistance this week in the NYC area.

Scope: We attempted to remove Sophos remotely but didn't have success. Each machine will need to be touched by hand to boot into safe mode, disable some registry keys, and uninstall Sophos. We have a list of step by step actions that need to be done on each machine.

There are 5 different sites in NYC that have machines that need to be worked on. We have 54 devices in total, 17 Active Last week, 26 active now, 11 not active for at least a month. Internal teams are working on a list of which sites and which machines.

Ideally, we were thinking 2 people to help over the course of 3-4 days. We would need to get this started asap, preferably today.
