What you will do:
As our Design Engineer, you will help the Operations Teams with designing our engineered control panels, including the generation of required drawing and operational instructions, selection of appropriate components and coordination of project approvals, manufacturing, programming, and successful start-up of these engineered panels that help control and monitor one of the world’s most valuable and limited resources– Water! This position works in our Madison, WI location.

The job:
Every day, your primary role will be to design engineered panels using AutoCAD Electrical as well as review, interpret and communicate specifications to build products used for water and wastewater applications. You will work in close cooperation with Project Managers, Sales and external customers to ensure understanding and to obtain required information. You will create Bills of Materials and documentation for the manufacturing of the control panels.

The skills you need:
To succeed in this role, you must have experience using AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office products. You must also possess exceptional communication skills. A 2-year degree along with 3-5 years’ experience in electrical controls is preferred with experience in Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers and related equipment.
