Design Engineer:

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer who will be responsible for organizing, managing, and creating new designs while also modifying existing designs.

The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive training and knowledge in various fabrication processes, such as cutting, forming, and welding.

An essential aspect of this role involves the ability to read and comprehend specifications, blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

Additionally, the candidate should be capable of comparing the performance of different parts and should have a strong understanding of raw materials and production processes to effectively fulfill the key job functions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include:

Design Creation and Modification: Utilize AutoCAD and/or AutoDesk Inventor to develop innovative designs and make necessary modifications. Familiarity with electrical design, layout, and PLC/Programmable Relay programming.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

Coordinate and monitor all aspects of production, including the selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication processes, and product design operations.

Cost Estimation and Quote Submission:

Estimate costs and schedules for specific products and projects.

Prepare and submit accurate quotes based on comprehensive evaluations.

Feasibility Assessment:

Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other relevant data to evaluate the feasibility, cost implications, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.

Compliance and Optimization:

Specify system components or direct product modifications to ensure compliance with engineering design and performance specifications.

Engineering Principles and Evaluation: Apply knowledge of engineering principles to conduct research, design, evaluate, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, and processes.

Troubleshooting and Recommendations: Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operations.

Provide recommendations for improvements and rectification.
