Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Two or more years of experience in a home design, architecture, or home construction field or equivalent sales experience
• Superior customer service skills, remaining calm and professional with customers and vendors
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, & Outlook as well as Internet browsing
• Successfully complete a criminal background check & pre-employment drug screening

Summary of duties

The Showroom Sales & Design Consultant serves individual customers, designers, architects, and builders by providing information and consultation and assistance in selecting the appropriate product(s) to meet the customer's needs.

• Assist Interior Designer, Architects, contractors, and customers with luxury decorative plumbing fixture needs and selections.
• Provide clients with features and benefits about all plumbing products in showroom.
• Meet or exceed sales goals monthly and annually.
• Prepare fixture quotes and presentations using provided software.
• Enters client orders into Best Plumbing system.
• Manage customers’ projects to completion.
• Resolve customer problems involving merchandise, design questions, product returns, repairs etc.
• Maintains showroom displays, product literature and storeroom.
• Meet with industry sales representatives for continuing education and knowledge.
• Work with showroom team to support whole division as needed.
• Network to enhance client portfolio and sales.
