The treatment coordinator’s primarily responsibility is ensuring a stellar new and recall patient experience and guiding patients to start treatment. The position would have significant bonus compensation based on performance and would have additional roles in front lead/billing/marketing based on practice need. Requirements:

• Dental / orthodontic experience as a treatment/patient care coordinator or other industry “sales” experience with similar functions
• Ability to connect with patients quickly and well
• Ability to present the financial investment in treatment and work through obstacles to get patients started on treatment
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain high quality of service.
• Demonstrable insurance billing knowledge
• Demonstrable organization skills with strong desire for action.
• Reliable work ethic in completing tasks efficiently and promptly.

Responsibilities:

• Following up with any patients pending treatment as needed to address obstacles that need to be resolved
• Work with insurance companies to obtain up-to-date payment schedule information, verify insurance benefits, submit all insurance claims (PPO/HMO/Dentical).
• Audit insurance accounts receivables and work with a follow up system to ensure proper payment.
• Proper documentation of any correspondence with insurance companies or patients in patients' charts.New and recall patient consultations with doctor and presenting treatment and fee to patient
• Being an integrate part of the team, which would include additional responsibilities with front desk leadership, marketing or billing based on practice needs.
