Dental Assistant / Oral Surgery - Chicago Surgical Specialists – Park Ridge, IL
Fast-Paced, Patient-centered, Multi-Specialty Surgical Practice Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery / General and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery seeking an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our great team!
- Surgically Assist with treatments with Surgeon.
- Participates in surgical care assisting during procedures.
- Well-versed in sterility.
- Measures vital signs and record information on patients' charts.
- Review pre- and post-operative instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the Surgeon.
- Maintain patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination and treatment of patients.
- Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records
- Order and maintain supplies.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Completing other duties and assignments as directed by the Surgeon and/or Clinical Nurse Manager.
Offering Full time.
Maturity and experience are greatly valued.
Experience with Dental/Oral surgery preferred.
Monday - Friday, rotating occasional Saturdays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
