Requirements:

  • High School diploma with 2 years' experience working in a medical environment
  • Certification from an accredited Dental Assistant Program and x-ray certification from an accredited organization
  • Pre-employment screening
  • Valid driver license and the ability to operate an organizational vehicle

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

About the Role: The Dental Assistant will work collaboratively with all staff members. This position requires skills at clinical and administrative duties. Administrative job duties include: scheduling appointments, maintaining medical/dental records, billing, coding for insurance purposes, among others as assigned. Dental clinical services include: review dental/medical histories, preparing patients for dental examinations, preparing dental exam area with all necessary equipment//instruments, etc., manage all instrumentation sterilization, complete necessary x-rays, provide educational information on dental hygiene, other duties as assigned. The Dental Assistant is a skilled communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and who can help us maintain a safe, effective integrated care clinic. The dental assistant is organized and professional, and has experience in the following: Supply Management, Infection Control, Scheduling, Confidentiality, therapeutic communication skills, and a Team-Based Approach

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $21.81 per hour
