Delivery Driver (FT) Job at Carolinas Staffing Solutions, Inc.
Job Description:
We are seeking detailed Delivery Drivers that can work independently to deliver products promptly, this person will need to be reliable and respectable. This is a high pace work environment that requires direct communication with office personnel and customers. Applicants must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds daily, CDL is not required.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
- Follow routes and time schedule.
- Unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints.
- Collect payments.
- Inform customers about new products and services.
- Complete logs and reports.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
Skills:
- Preferred working experience as a Delivery Driver.
- Valid professional driver’s license Class C NON-CDL.
- Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
- Must be able to operate a Manual Vehicle.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good driving record with no traffic violations.
- High school degree.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Must be willing to work late if necessary.
- Neat Appearance.
- Be able to read and write.
- Have a clean MVR.
- Clean Background.
- Drug Test Required.
Upon hire rate increases to $625.00 Sign-on bonus of $1000.00, you will receive $5000 after the first 90 days, and you will receive the other $500.00 after the next 90 days.
