Job Posting Title DEI Business Partner

Job Description Summary AAM is seeking an innovative DEI Business Partner. The ideal candidate will collaborate to support strategy implementation, Associate Resource Groups and community engagement. The DEI Business Partner will become a valuable stakeholder who supports self-assessments and collaborates on AAM’s DEI program initiatives.

Job Description
Support implementation of AAMs overall DEI Strategy through its 5 Pillars
Communication and review of identified DEI initiatives
Management of ARG Day to Day activities as they focus on the 4 impact areas
Gather and track Information for reporting and self-assessments, and coordinate with respective AAM stakeholders - DEI partners and other departments
Participation or support in AAM identified Community Engagement Initiatives
Collaborate and work on different projects in an effort for continuous improvement in our DEI journey, as identified
Provide ongoing DEI support to DEI stakeholders
Provide DEI support and development associates within the organization
Recommend metrics and processes used to measure
Utilize data and metrics to tell our DEI story and push for continued progress in fostering an inclusive workplace and culture
Support global regions as well as respective facilities in implementation of the identified action plans for the 2 + 1 Program, and Employee Engagement Action Plans
Present on DEI initiatives as needed
Support DEI Director with ongoing projects as identified

Required Skills and Education
Experience in helping design, support and deliver initiatives related to DEI strategic pillars
At least 3 Years of DEI Experience
Strong communication and writing skills
Strong influence and negotiation skills
Project management experience
Proficient in Power Point, Excel, Word, and Adobe
Self-motivated and starter with multicultural competence
Proven track record of successful DEI Strategy implementation
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
