We are currently seeking a DC Power Technician Sub Contractor for Baton Rouge, LA
Must be mechanically inclined, have electrical experience, and be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Some travel may be required. Most of the work will be local.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing battery maintenance.
- Responsible for installation and removal of batteries and peripheral equipment.
- This job will be Monday - Friday, Schedule and hours may vary depending on the project.
- Must follow OSHA, NFPA70e, I.E.E.E, and company safety procedures.
- Ability to work various work shifts and varied weekly schedules to meet customer completion needs.
- Meet or exceed customer and internal company project completion goals and quality standards.
Ideal candidates will have:
- HVAC, Telecom, DC Power Plant, or Battery Service Experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL.
- Ability to travel within Louisiana and other surrounding territories depending on customer needs.
- Basic mechanical skills & electrical skills
- The capability of lifting up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to pass Background Check
- Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol Test'
