Responsibilities

The Data Coordinator provides systems, documentation, reporting analysis and/or assistance to Perioperative Services, including Surgical Services, CGU, PACU and Endoscopy Services.
  • Maintains a reporting system that provides routine quantitative measures of surgical productivity, financial and business performance and simple performance forecasting. Prepares weekly/monthly reports and submits within appropriate time frame. Acquire user skills in entering and retrieving information from the current surgical database. Acquire a familiarity with the data configuration and requirements of the selected next generation of surgical software.
  • Assume surgical database administrative functions, such as developing quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy of journal entries, the integrity of the database and recommending improvements in provision of management reports.
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and record/distribute minutes of meetings for manager/director. Includes preparing and circulating materials, notifying meeting participants, typing and distributing minutes. Maintains business calendar for the director, track project deadlines, chart progress, arranges meeting, and coordinates details.
  • Develop and maintain accurate filing system for departmental correspondence, intra-office correspondence, and patient records. Maintains personnel records and licensure notifications for all employees.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years in related capacity in a health care or mental health care setting
  • Bachelor degree preferred

Pay Range

$27.65 - $38.02 /hour
