Duration: STRICRT 4 month contract role

Location: MUST SIT in the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia & Wisconsin

Must Haves:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst
• Experience building dashboards from scratch using PowerBI
• Experience working with SQL.
• Experience working with disparate data and building out dashboards by identifying business gaps.
• Must have prior experience defining requirements based on business gaps

Plusses:

• Prior mentoring experience
• Prior experience in the healthcare or insurance space
• Prior experience working on a contracts team or procurement team
• Experience working with Tableau

Day to Day:

An insurance client is seeking a data analyst to join a contracts team to take disparate data sitting in 3 of their internal systems and turn it into useable data for the business by putting it into power BI dashboards. There is currently no system or team in place for this, so this individual should have experience with building dashboards from scratch based off business gaps and creating requirements on their own. They will need to seek to understand the business and team needs to make sure the dashboards relate back to business functions to fill these current gaps the team is experiencing. Once this individual understands the ‘story’ the team is seeking to tell and understand, they will then pull the correct data to build out the dashboards. Through the contract they will be training a junior data analyst on the team as well to broaden the knowledge in this space. The goal at the end of the contract, is the team will have established standard reporting metrics and a report that goes with it. They are seeking to have a reusable dashboard that will demonstrate all vendor management metrics, spend, and initiatives.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
