JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst works cross-functionally utilizing data from multiple sources to solve business problems and optimize profits. Lead the process of requirements gathering via measurement plans that allows actionable insights from complex sets of information/data. Ensure quick decision making and opportunities for improvements focusing on what information is appropriate as levers and actionable key performance indicators (KPIs). Present findings to all levels of the business with actionable and money saving, and opportunities called out. Creating dashboards for stakeholders to self-service combining multiple data sources for one quick easy view for mining finding and insights.

FUNDAMENTAL JOB TASKS:

• Create new Power BI Dashboards
• Provide guidance and recommendations for measurements of success, KPI strategy, and health measurements across various business units
• Proactively engage in regular and ad hoc analysis of business performance to provide analytical solutions to business issues/opportunities
• Extracts and interprets data patterns in order to translate findings into actionable outcomes
• Build custom analytics dashboards and reports that can effectively present performance to the appropriate audiences aligned to KPIs, working with teams to process the information, and combining data sources and complex queries
• Perform end-to-end analysis to identify key drivers of emerging trends and recommending actions to all levels of the business
• Provide pre and post launch analysis for new tools, processes, and training and insights based on success metrics
• Measure usability/effectiveness, and present actionable insights and recommendations based on data results and best practices
• Look for new data sources to enhance and expand our understanding of the business and our customers
• Drive best practices and standards around the usage of data platforms and tools
• Work cross-functionally with multiple business units
• Manage and act as key technical advisor on Power BI, and other reporting tools to analyze and identify opportunities for improvements
• Perform other duties and assignments as needed

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICIATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution or equivalent work experience is required.
• 1+ years of functional experience in Data Analytics
• Proficiency in SQL required
• Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI or a similar tool) Required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Good presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with Management
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines
• Ability to identify opportunities and act on them both problem-solving skills and analytical skills
• Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all levels of individuals doing business from inside and outside the Company
