Job Description


Provides support for the Hotelscorp Sales Floor. They will verify new deals, attempt to save packages from guests requesting to cancel, answer questions, schedule reservations and tours, book car rentals, and sell additional items such as tickets to guests who have purchased vacation packages. The ultimate goal is customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Answer multi-line phones
  • Verifying new deals to make certain the guest fully qualifies for a timeshare tour
  • Confirms all vacation arrivals with guests three days before they check-in
  • Attempting to save guests requesting to cancel their vacation
  • Helping guests with questions and concerns about their vacation
  • Providing quality, friendly, and courteous Customer Service to external and internal customers
  • Isolating problems and attempting to resolve them before taking them to a supervisor
  • Booking reservations
  • Be able to accurately give directions to all Resorts
  • Offering upgrades, extra nights, car rentals, and tickets.
  • Punching in/out for shift
  • Research complaints to check the validity and determines the outcome
  • Logging into the phone system for an entire shift. If a problem occurs with the phone or computer system, the agent is responsible for alerting Floor Supervisor.


On - Site Training Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (2 Weeks)

  • Business Hours of Operation
    • Monday - Friday 10:00AM - 6:30PM
    • Saturday - Sunday 9:00AM - 5:30PM

Days off will be split with one weekday and one weekend day off. * based on call volume and travel seasonality*


Qualifications
  • Experience in a customer service environment and \or phone experience
  • Able to multi-task. Ability to utilize multiple computer programs at one time. Good basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse, typing)
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, not required!

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
