Job Highlights

Role: Order Entry Customer Service / Sales Support Specialist (Account Manager)

Industry: Freight forwarding / logistics

Pay: $20/hr.

Location: Elk Grove Village – on site

Duration: Direct hire

Hours: 8:00a - 5:00p or 9:00a -6:00p

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with quotes
• Account management
• Enter customer orders
• Give customers updates on shipment status ‘
• Coordinate with customers and internal team in US and Japan
• Respond to RFQ requests
• Follow up to retain Existing Customer on irregularity shipments or issues relating to transportation, customer service, or pricing.
• Respond to oversees customer emails
• Position may transition in to a sales role down the road if interested

Requirements:

• 2 + years Account Management / Sales Support / Order Entry customer service experience
• Experience in one of these areas from a manufacturer coordinating oversees shipments, freight forwarded or Logistics company would be ideal
• Any order entry experience with a freight forwarded is ideal
• Willing to train in company’s warehouse for initial weeks to develop a thorough understanding of the business
• Solid work tenure
