Main purpose of the job

The Customer Success Manger supports customers in their transition from sales prospects to active users of Codale and other services.

Key Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for customer satisfaction, retention and expansion of existing sales within the existing customer base. This role is primarily oriented towards the support services and software as a service initiative.

  • Understand product and service offerings, including the value and delivery methodology for each solution
  • Effectively onboard customers by communicating the solution throughout their organization
  • Monitor the usage of the service throughout the contract term to ensure complete adoption of the service.
  • Understand customer difficulties and collaborate creatively to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with service specialists, product managers, business development managers and account managers to expand the scope of contracts throughout its lifecycle
  • Identify new opportunities for engagement with existing customers
  • Cement Codale as a market leading service provider
  • Ensure high customer retention and renewal of existing contracts
  • Leverage renewal opportunities to expand the scope of services and right size the contract
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Service Specialists to ensure smooth transitions between contracts and renewal.


Minimum work experience requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in Customer Success Management or 5 years of experience pro-active Inside Sales
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems
  • Electrical, Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required
  • SaaS Service Industry experience preferred but not required

Minimum education requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a 4-year college/university or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training

    Other skills/experience desired:

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little supervision
  • Must demonstrate good time management skills
  • Must possess strong planning, organizational and execution skills
  • Must have the ability to set goals and meet deadlines
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities and ability to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner
  • Must possess a proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution
  • Must have the ability to establish strong working relationships with co-workers and management
  • Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
