The Customer Care Sales Representative's primary responsibility is to assist residential customers with solutions to inquiries and requests. Responsible to promote and sell products and services using effective consultative sales strategies. Build trust with customers by identifying solutions to satisfy a customer's needs through engaging questions and rapport building. Accountable for individual performance indicators of sales conversion rate, customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity to ensure that the overall business objectives are achieved.

Essential Responsibilities


  • Provide an excellent customer service experience by consulting and selling products and services. Provide high-quality customer interaction through multiple channels in a Contact Center environment. Anticipate the customer’s needs and consults with them by offering solutions and problem-solving. Responds to complex inquiries and requests.
  • May be required to respond to electric emergency situations with a high degree of accuracy to ensure public safety. Provide technical support to customers. Perform other duties as assigned, including work on special projects.
  • Required to work one Saturday every 6 weeks.


Minimum Requirements


  • 18 months of customer service experience preferred.
  • 1+ year of sales experience required; 2+ years preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have access to reliable high-speed internet (10mbp)
  • Must be within 1 hour of the Amarillo, TX Contact Center (790 Buchanan Amarillo, TX 79101).
