Job Title: Certified Aquascape Contractor (CAC) Program Coordinator
Department: Admin Reports to: Executive Vice President, Business Development
Hourly/Non-exempt
The CAC Program Coordinator is responsible for promoting, administering, and growing the Certified Aquascape Contractor (CAC) Program and providing support for our Certified Aquascape Contractor customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Applicant processing
o Work with potential CAC candidates to complete and submit application for certification
o Follow-up with applicants to submit needed documentation, contacting them by phone and/or email to keep them moving through process
o Invite CAC applicants to participate on CAC Facebook page
o Work with sales team to assist applicants through the process
o Communicate the benefits of certification and explain the requirements of the application process to potential candidates
o Review applications as they are submitted
o Expedite the application process and increase the number of candidates who complete the process
CAC Communication
o Create email blasts to CAC network to provide information regarding program updates, event information, and recertification procedures, opportunities and timelines
o Post on the CAC Facebook page to provide information to CAC network and foster CAC involvement
o Respond timely to all e-mail correspondences regarding the program
o Maintain CAC master excel spreadsheet with up-to-date information on all CACs and CAC candidates
o Assist in the tracking and qualification of submitted purchase information
o Contact customers to inform them of customer events and promote registration
o Attend customer events and tradeshows to promote program to new customers
Recertification
o Track CAC recertification process
o Assist CACs in meeting their recertification requirements
o Communicate recertification opportunities
Aquascape Academy
o Assist in registration to Aquascape Academy to prospective or current CACs
o Assist event team with hosting the event
International Customer Support
o Process orders and returns which are received by phone and e-mail from international customers
o Resolve customer service issues
o Record notes on customer interactions in the CRM
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in company events, as requested
Complete other projects and duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Detail-oriented
Availability to travel 2-4 times per year for tradeshows or customer events
Excellent customer service skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook, along with Internet and social media basics
Sales-minded with ability to effectively discuss the benefits of certification
Ability to learn and communicate product features/benefits, including the technical aspects of design, installation and maintenance of water features
Proven ability to write professional emails and business communications
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience working in a customer service position
Intermediate level excel skills
