Custodian- Office and Warehouse

Type: Full-time

Shift: M-F, 6am-2:30pm

Wage: 20/hr+DOE

Location: Hartung Glass- 10450 SW Ridder Rd Wilsonville, OR 97070

We are seeking an experienced Custodian to join our growing team! This position requires the successful candidate to have a background in both warehouse and office environments and 'will have extensive knowledge of safety procedures, general cleaning tasks, organization and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.
• Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.
• Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and lunch rooms.
• Performs limited grounds maintenance as requested.
• Maintains a neat and orderly janitorial quarters; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
• Washes windows.
• Assists in examining facility for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to Safety Manager, Plant Manager, and/or Maintenance Manager.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
• Ability to keep the facility clean and orderly.
• Ability to interact with coworkers and visitors of the facility while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
