Position Purpose: This position is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of Family Wellness properties.
Education, Experience, & Skills (Minimum Requirement): A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
- Perform basic cleaning duties such as vacuuming, removal of waste materials, wiping down of glass and mirrors, replacing paper and soap products.
- Clean and disinfect the restrooms, lockers, and shower rooms.
- Collect and/or remove soiled towels from the locker rooms and other parts of the facility and restock towels in locker rooms and fitness areas.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Perform floor care duties such as dry and wet mopping, stripping and waxing of floors, and carpet shampooing.
- Prepare rooms for meetings and clean up following meetings.
- Remove snow from entry ways.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
BLOOD EXPOSURE
This position has a low risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials. Training is required upon hire and maintained yearly.
