HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, formerly named Brandon Regional Hospital, is currently accepting applications for a Florida-licensed CT Technologist (CT Tech) on a full-time basis for our Free Standing Emergency Room (FSER) department. The schedule for this CT Technologist opportunity includes 12-hour shifts with rotating overnight or 24-hour call assigned as needed. There are also opportunities to pick up additional shifts at our FSER locations (HCA Florida Lakeland Emergency, HCA Florida Plant City Emergency, HCA Florida Riverview Emergency, HCA Florida University Emergency, and HCA Florida New Tampa Emergency) and/or the main hospital. Must be proficient in both CT and X-ray. ARRT (R) + ARRT (CT) and BLS required.

The CT Technologist provides computerized assisted tomographic services to patients as ordered by physicians and will be competent in all of the following: brain, total spine, facial, sinus, orbits, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, upper/lower extremities, sella, biopsies.

• 
  Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
• Clear/active Florida CRT license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
