What you’ll be doing to make an impact:
- Making daily pickups and deliveries of documents, packages and other items between all branches and U. S. Post Office.
- Sorting and distributing all mail collected from U.S. Post Office and branches.
- Collecting, sealing and stamping outgoing mail, using postage meter machine and envelope sealer.
- Planning and following the most efficient routes for delivering items.
- Maintaining cleanliness of mail and storage areas
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide friendly, professional, accurate service and support to all members and employees.
- Able to ensure daily postings, deliveries, and pickups are completed in a timely manner with zero unresolved errors.
- Able to ensure all mail leaving premises has correct postage affixed, is properly sealed and adheres to established department specifications before departure, including certified mail.
- Able to maintain cleanliness of mail and storage areas to prescribed standard set by supervisor.
- Able to successfully complete assigned responsibilities and deliveries with minimum number of errors in a timely manner each day.
- Able to lift and move up to 50lbs
- Previous collections experience preferred.
- A valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle independently.
- Current automobile insurance at all times.
- The ability to travel independently via personal automobile and/or company vehicle
- The ability to operate general office equipment including mail machine, and telephone.
- Organized and have an eye for detail.
- This position is part-time and pays $15/hour
- Hours are Thursday, 05/25, Friday, 05/26, Tuesday, 05/30 and Wednesday, 05/31
- This assignment is considered Contract and will be determined by the client’s needs. This position will continue on a as-needed basis.
