Cosmetology Educator - Evenings Job at Elaine Sterling Institute
- Must be a licensed Georgia Cosmetology Educator.
- Nights: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 5:30pm to 10pm. Saturdays 8:00am to 5pm.
Prepare and utilize approved daily lesson plans and curriculum.
Deliver meaningful instruction daily that includes but is not limited to, demonstrations, practical applications, lectures, testing, skills assessments and review classes.
Conduct detailed monthly academic reviews on student progress, classroom evaluations and student attendance. Enter all grades, credit hours and work-based assignments.
Be a valuable industry resource for your students.
Monitor student attendance daily. Report any continual absenteeism to Administration in a timely basis. (More than one day absent- the student needs to be called by instructor.)
Check student’s time-sheets daily for accuracy and approve all credits earned.
Ensure all students follow Dress code.
Cooperate with fellow instructors and staff.
Utilize all school and media resources at your disposal to deliver effective instruction.
Maintain a current license in the state of Georgia.
Stay current with industry trends.
Adhere to the GA State Board of Cosmetology Safety and Sanitation procedure’s...
Be a positive role model and mentor for the students.
