Correctional Health Registered Nurse Job at NYC Health + Hospitals
We are looking for a Registered Nurse, who has expert knowledge of a particular theory or methodology, or is able to bring new knowledge to the workplace. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the field and be comfortable working as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a flexible schedule with the ability to work weekdays, evenings and weekends, and must be reliable, actively involved and able to make decisions independently.
Responsibilities:
- Administer life-saving medications.
- Assess patient's physical, mental, and emotional condition.
- Explain complex medical situations to patients and their families.
- Document medical history.
- Communicate with medical personnel and other health staff to coordinate care.
- Interpret medical data from multiple sources.
- Conduct research.
- Perform routine procedures.
- Monitor and record patients' conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness of hospital environment.
- Ensure that proper procedures are followed.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $74.00 - $85.00 per hour
