Then you may be a good fit for the Copywriter role at Tuft & Needle. As a Copywriter, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our growing Content team to bring our amazing products to life through compelling content, both on and off our site. Copywriters will work with other members of Content, Design, UX, Product, and Brand Management teams (both Tuft & Needle and Serta Simmons Bedding) to create desire for our products and help differentiate our brand.
What You'll Do:
- Craft best-in-class product copy, distilling technical details into clear, compelling descriptions
- Contribute additional content as needed, including 1-2 long-form blog posts a week
- Support product launches with additional content across channels, including site, email, social, video, retail, and packaging
- Assist our copy team with campaign help when needed
- Partner with our UX design team to create clear, effective user experiences
- Work cross-functionally to ensure all brief objectives are met
- Present copy to creative leadership and marketing stakeholders during reviews
- Manage copy deliverables and meet deadlines
What You'll Bring:
- Strong writing skills, with ability to distill product details into concise and compelling product copy
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills with ability to manage own projects
- Collaborative, creative, team player
- Able to handle multiple copywriting assignments simultaneously
- Adherence to brand standards for Tuft & Needle and Serta Simmons Bedding (SSB)
- Strong proofreading skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable receiving and responding to feedback
- At least 1-3 years experience working as a copywriter on an in-house creative team or agency
- Bachelor’s degree or portfolio school background with an emphasis on English, journalism, creative writing, or copywriting
- References (at least 3) from your past creative teams and projects
- Ecomm/retail experience preferred (bonus points for the home space!)
