SUMMARY: The marketing copywriter's primary role is to craft persuasive, compelling, and creative copy for a variety of media and marketing channels. The copywriter works closely with other members of the creative team, such as art directors, designers, and account managers, to develop concepts and ideas that engage and motivate target audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand Company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV.
  • Collaborate with art directors, designers, and other creatives to develop compelling concepts and campaigns that align with the client's brand message and business objectives.
  • Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for a variety of media and channels - including but not limited to print, digital advertising, websites, social media, video scripts, and email marketing.
  • Conduct research to gain an understanding of clients' products, services, and target audiences to inform and communicate strategies.
  • Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand project objectives and timelines to ensure that copy aligns with the brand guidelines, tone, and style.
  • Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Ensure that all copy meets legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned by the leadership.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in copywriting, advertising, or marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
  • Exceptional writing skills including grammar, syntax, and punctuation.
  • Understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Time management and organization skills.
