Job Description
The Orvis School of Nursing at the University of Nevada, Reno, invites applications for Coordinator of Academic Success. The Coordinator of Academic Success is assigned to the Orvis School of Nursing and is responsible for key projects that support student recruitment, advising, and retention. The position will be responsible for oversight of projects such as advanced registration, transfer agreements, implementation of college orientation processes, and academic recovery programs. The person in this position will oversee assessment, research, analysis, and evaluation of data from Navigate and assessment to help the continual improvement of academic advising. Coordinators provide traditional academic advising to new, continuing, and transfer students on general advising and graduation requirements. The coordinator reports directly to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs and helps with projects as assigned.
Duties include but are not limited to: Academic Advising and Retention, Recruitment, Student Event Coordination and Supervision.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of related experience OR a Master’s Degree and two (2) years of related experience
Related Experience: In a field related to academic advising or student services; program evaluation and assessment, and at least one year of supervision.

- Experience in or with higher education

Compensation Grade
Administrative Faculty - B ($56,000-$61,000)
