Job Title: Coordinator of Academic Enrichment & Faculty Development

Reports to: Principal

Job Overview: The Coordinator of Academic Enrichment & Faculty Development is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of academic enrichment programs and initiatives that enhance student learning and engagement. This position also provides leadership in the development and implementation of faculty development programs that support the growth and development of teachers in the school. In addition, the Coordinator of Academic Enrichment & Faculty Development is responsible for coordinating all school-wide standardized testing and assessments. The Coordinator works collaboratively with other school administrators and teachers to ensure that programs and initiatives align with the school's mission and educational goals.

Responsibilities:

Academic Enrichment:

  • Develop and oversee a range of academic enrichment programs that provide additional academic support, challenge, and enrichment to students outside of the traditional classroom setting.
  • Identify and implement best practices in academic enrichment programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to develop and implement strategies that support student academic growth and success.
  • In collaboration with the Principal and Curriculum Specialist, coordinate all academic support services and related personnel for SOAR, Title I, and Special Education programs.
  • In collaboration with the Curriculum Specialist, develop a tailored curriculum for SOAR to target student achievement.
  • Complete and submit all necessary reports related to the Title I program and RTI process to the appropriate agencies.
  • Review academic records and learning plans of all prospective students seeking enrollment at our school; participate as needed in Individual Educational Plan meetings.
  • Keep track of and update all Student Learning Plans (SLPs) on an annual basis. Coordinate meetings with parents and outside agencies, as needed.
  • Share SLPs with teachers and help guide them to understand and implement strategies in the classroom to support individualized learning needs.

Faculty Development:

  • Develop and implement faculty development programs that support the growth and development of teachers in the school.
  • Identify and implement best practices in faculty development programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the professional growth and development of teachers, including mentoring and coaching programs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to align faculty development programs with the school's mission and educational goals.
  • Coordinate, track, and submit all Master In-Service documentation to ADOM for St. Rose of Lima faculty and staff.
  • Attend RML trainings with the ADOM, as necessary.

Assessment:

  • Coordinate all school-wide standardized testing and assessments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prepare students for standardized tests and assessments.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to develop and implement strategies to analyze and use assessment data to inform instructional practices and support student learning.
  • Supervise and implement the coordination of all standardized testing programs including the STAR, ESGI, Terra Nova, etc. This includes ordering of materials and licenses, attending training meetings, organizing testing schedules and personnel support, communicating plans with faculty and administration, etc.

· Track testing data, analyze results, and identify areas of strength and weakness to be shared with all faculty in a timely manner.

  • Supervise and track all students who are struggling academically and confidentially share concerns with necessary parents, teachers, and administrative team.
  • Assist the administrative team in coordinating professional development opportunities and data meetings to ensure ongoing assessment of student progress.
  • Help coordinate testing of newly accepted students and review data for class placement.
  • Track progress and analyze Math testing data of all rising middle school students for Math placement.

Accreditation:

  • Serve as the Chairperson of School Accreditation and oversee the accreditation process for the school.
  • Develop and maintain the school's accreditation standards and policies.
  • Coordinate accreditation visits and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Prepare accreditation reports and communicate accreditation status to school stakeholders.
  • Stay current on best practices in accreditation and share information with school administrators and staff.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Provide leadership and vision for the development and implementation of academic enrichment, faculty development, and assessment programs and initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, school administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure that programs and initiatives align with the school's mission and educational goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school and community partners to develop and implement academic enrichment, faculty development, and assessment programs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to promote the school's academic enrichment, faculty development, and assessment initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in education or a related field.
  • Florida State Professional Certification
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of best practices in academic enrichment, faculty development, and assessment programs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, school administrators, and community partners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
