Coord, Ops (Beaumont/Port Arthur, Tx) Job at Kirby Inland Marine LP
ESSENTIAL Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily duties at assigned fleets.
- Ensure all fleets are continuously supplied with the required levels of lines and rigging.
- Ensure that the utilities and services at all fleeting facilities
- Work interdepartmentally to communicate and coordinate fleeting maintenance.
- Asist in the budget associated with operations of assigned fleeting locations.
- Ability to respond to fleeting locations.
- Perform weekly, monthly fleet inspections.
- Work with vendors on pricing for projects as needed.
- Serving as Facility Security Officer.
- Ensuring the company safety culture is instilled in all aspects of the operation.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS
- Self-motivated and multi-task oriented.
- Marine Industry experience required.
- Experience with Marine Construction and general construction preferred.
- Ability to communicate issues and concerns effectively.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, Office 365
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
Due to Job Responsibilities, some travel and on call to facilitate notifications will be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education High School Degree
Experience Minimum 2-year towing industry experience.
