The primary purpose of this position is to prepare and serve high quality meals, according to menus, in a timely manner to meet meal schedules; assist in purchasing and storage of foods, as needed, and follow established rules and regulations for long-term care and safe food production. The ideal team member is someone practiced in making good meals for individual orders, tables and events; but we will also consider a talented learner. Customer service, consistently positive demeanor, can-do approach to work, dependability, and drive to do best-quality work are critical.

Education and Experience

• Graduation from high school or GED preferred
• At least 6 months of experience in this field preferred
• Experience in large-scale cooking operation, with supervisory skills, is preferable
