Snyder Village is a life plan community located at the edge of the village of Metamora, IL, about 20 minutes from Peoria. We offer a continuum of care that ranges from independent living to assisted living to skilled nursing care.
Do you love cooking for others but still want to be home by 7?
Snyder Village is currently looking for someone who has a passion for cooking and loves to bring joy to others. As a Full Time or Part Time Cook you are responsible for the food that is prepped, cooked, and presented to the residents of our Health Center.
The position:
- Starting Wage: $16.50-$20.00
- Hours: including every other weekend and holiday
- Full Time 11a-6:30p
Job Responsibilities
- Prepares all meals according to the recipes
- Serves all meals in the appropriate dining rooms
- Is responsible for setting up appropriate dining areas after meals
- Adheres to all safety and sanitary regulations governing storage, handling and serving of food and utensils
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
- Active food sanitation certification (preferred, but not required)
- Ability to handle several tasks at once.
- Must have a fast, fun, and friendly attitude.
- Willing to learn something new each day.
