Currently, StaffBright has an incredible Controls Engineer opportunity in the Fenton area. We are seeking individuals with 5+ years of relevant experience in an industrial electrical environment of the automotive industry.

What You Will Be Doing

  • This team keeps their Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Ignition, running smoothly: This is the layer of technology between ERP and the plant floor providing solutions such as OEE downtime, SPC, track and trace and rescue management.
  • Support and troubleshoot all HMI and PLC technology in the plant.
  • 2nd tier of support on the plant floor to assist Maintenance resolve issues with the robotic systems
  • Program systems based on manufacturing process design from other teams.

What We Need From You

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:

  • Automotive industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical environment involving circuits and electrical cabinets
  • 2+ years of experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and RS Logix 500 and/or 5000
  • Allen Bradley is highly preferred (Siemens expert could be considered)
  • 2+ years of experience with Rockwell Factory Talk View
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial power distribution, and PLC controlled equipment

Preferred experience/skills but NOT required:

  • Experience with VB, Python, and/or Java for additional programming
  • Experience with Fanuc and Epson Robots
  • Experience with Vision Systems (Cognex is the type they use)

Pay: $97,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
