Reliant Nationwide Staffing is in search of a Regional Controller for one of our top clients in Gillette, WY! This is a Direct Hire Opportunity! $90,000-$100,000.

Controlling professional with strong technical and leadership capabilities reporting to the Legal Entity Controller. Overall responsibility for all Controlling related activities and reporting for the operational businesses within the Central Region.

Qualifications/Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

Job experience

• Min 5 years of experience in Accounting, Controlling, and Reporting
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• IFRS experience an advantage

Key skills

• Understanding of internal financial reporting, application of accounting principles and internal controls
• Pro-active and self-motivated mindset
• Team Player able to work effectively across disciplines and locations

Technical skills

• Proficient MS Office, incl. Excel, PowerPoint, Access
• Proficient in ERP systems (MS Dynamics a plus)

Key Responsibilities / Activities (High Level)

• Supports Business Partners by delivering comprehensive, complete and timely financial information for the purpose of business management and decision making
• Prepares the budget, and forecast with the business partners
• Analyzes deviations between actual, rolling forecast and budget and is proactive in supporting Business Partners in creating plans to close identified gaps and implement improvements
• Supports Business Partners in cost reduction / process improvement initiatives
• Reports and drives actions relevant to NWC and respective KPI's
• Ensures accurate postings in raw materials, WIP and finished products and investigates deviations
• Ensures correct and timely reporting of Quality costs
• Ensures understanding of Internal Controls requirements and compliance within the operational business
• Assists and supports LE Controller with entity level reporting requirements and ad hoc queries, adapting and implementing procedures for the Controlling function, and the promoting and sharing of best practices
