Below is a general outline of the duties required more information will be provided to applicants. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license; able to lift 50 lbs., able to work in all types of weather conditions and must reside in the area. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active boxes in a timely fashion
- Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.
- Delivering mail along an assigned line-of-travel (route), accurately and timely.
- Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable items.
- Keep control and proper Accounting of all mail, parcels, etc.
- Maintaining company vehicle and other administrative duties are required.
- Work Schedule: Must be available Monday – Saturday. Full time position is 4 - 5 days a week and part-time position is 1 - 2 days.
Government Holidays observed.
Job Qualifications
Good driving history last 7 years
Ability to pass level 2 background check
Ability to pass drug test
Knowledge of Tappahannock, Va
Job Types: Full/Part-time; benefit compensation.
Pay: $ 16.73 hourly + $4.60 hourly for benefit compensation
Total pay compensation: $ 21.33hourly
